PMS/PDMS differs from mineral oil in a wide range of operating temperatures, from -40 °С to +200 °С, as well ashavinga low dependence on viscosity and compressibility with temperature. PMS has many uses. Some of the main ones are:

3. PMS can be used as a high- and low-temperature heat carrier, shock-absorbing fluid, hydraulic damping fluid, and cooling fluid. 4. PMS can also be used as dielectric fluid in transformers, capacitors, and contact insulation.
